                   Appointment of Non-Executive Director

London & Associated Properties PLC ("LAP" or "the Company"), the specialist
retail focused property investor announces that Robin Priest has joined the
board as a non-executive director with effect from 31 July 2013.

Robin Priest is currently Managing Director of Alvarez & Marsal Real Estate
Advisory Services ("A&M") and has more than 30 years of experience in real
estate and structured finance. Prior to joining A&M, Robin was lead partner for
Real Estate Corporate Finance in London with Deloitte LLP.

Sir Michael Heller, Chairman, LAP said:

There is no information concerning Robin Priest which requires disclosure under
